Principal/RE EC&I Engineer

The Opportunity An opportunity is available for a highly experienced RE or Principal EC&I Engineer for CE&I design supporting SMPrO Projects. The successful candidate will be required to lead a team of CE&I engineers and designers. The assignment will be based in Warrington with occasional site visits to Cumbria as per the requirements of the project. Hybrid working is available based around a working week of 37 hours. You will have the following qualifications & experience: BEng Degree IEng/CEng Chartership Experience of SL working practices. Previous experience with the design of a broad range of EC&I services. Previous experience with radiological / environmental monitoring systems. Strong stakeholder management skills  It’s great if you also have the following: BPSS Minimum, SC Preferred. Requires Sellafield IT/Pass. Experience working in a fast-paced project environment. Familiar with working under NEC3 contract. Capable of working closely and effectively with engineers to deliver compliant design deliverables. Able to actively seek input from other engineers, specialists, Utilities and project team members to improve understanding and deliver fit for purpose solutions. Able to manage a package of work being delivered by the supply chain. Be able to present information in forms specifically aimed at a variety of target audiences. Ability to demonstrate competence in a design role (SQEP) inline with the role description detailed above.   The setting for the role The role will be mainly office based with trips to site if required.
